Activity Help

ANSWERED

I went to the gym with my flex for the first time today.  I'm not sure what I did wrong. I feel like the steps are wrong.  I did the stationary bike for 25 minutes and the treadmill for another 25 minutes. I entered everything in to the activity log.  I wanted to have a nice log of all the things I did at the gym, so I could follow the progress. Nothing showed up though.  The very active minutes is still at zero. I did tighten the band earlier and it took forever for the two taps to bring up the LEDS. So, I put the band back where it was earlier tonight. It seems to be coming up better now. Any help with how to log things in would great.  I want to make sure I get as much out of this as possible. Also, I hit the 5,000 steps and no badge.  I'm hoping that tomorrow will be different.

Thank you!

The fitbit does not count the stationary bike very well. It should the treadmill.

Also if you manually log steps you will not receive a badge. Badges are only awarded for true Fitbit Steps.

You might want to read the manual it can help as well

Thank you so much.

So, if I log something does that mess up what the Flex measured during the workout?

Thank you!

I have had the same problem as has my wife.  The band does seem to be the issue and the band is quite difficult to put on in a tight position.  It would be very helpful if Fitbit coud offer a band which is easier to adjust - put on, etc.  The current configuration is anything but easy to use!!

I agree.  I don't find the band very easy to put on either. I have decided to use the journal to log all my activities.  I have found that when logging on the activity page it will mess up what the flex recorded.

Thank you!
