Activity Log

I was wondering if anyone here that uses fitbit also plays Roller Derby. I'm curise if you log your practice time or bout time. If you do how do you track your calories when you log it. I'm ok with not logging it but I would like to log as much stuff I do as I can.

I don't do roller derby, but my guess is that the energy expenditure of your practice and bout times is about the same; so I would time the whole thing as one event.

 

As for the calories, the following article offers some interesting insights. I would definitely create a custom activity for it, pegging the caloric burn to a reasonable estimate.

When I skated, I wore a heart rate monitor to several practices and bouts. I then used the average to make a somewhat accurate assessment.
