Somehow I never noticed the Adventures that are available for the Fitbit until today. I have been wanting to do an "adventure" ever since I started walking again for fitness and sanity. 🙂 Anyways on May 22 I started a new goal to walk the distance of the pioneer trail. I completed it today. It took me 121 days. I walked 1300.67 miles, 2,657,488 steps. I figuratively walked from Nauvoo Illnois to Salt Lake City Utah. During this time I had surgery (I walked 7.5 miles while in the hospital 🙂 ) and the last 3 weeks I've had a horrible cold/flu/ear infection thingy. Despite a few obstacles I did it. I feel really good about reaching this goal. As far as fitbit badges I'm almost to the Monarch Migration badge. 🙂 I'm a sucker for the badges. I'm excited to learn about the other badges. I am going to try to earn some of the higher step ones. The highest I've gotten is the 45,000 step one - the Snow boot.
Anyways thanks for the Adventures. I am starting the Yosemite one tomorrow... Hope it's fun!
