Yoga classes at the gym (or even trying to follow youtube poses) would likely help. There is a good book called Dynamic Aging by Katy Bowman that should help you address your issues in a systematic way.

Are there barre studios in your town? I take free outdoor barre classes offered by a local BID (and doing the exercises on grass is challenging!) as well as classes at a local studio (those are a combo of cardio, strength training, and yoga). Yoga or Pilates might also work for you. Or you can look online for videos that give you balancing exercises. As I am generally klutzy, I'm also concerned about my balance, but the more I do it, the better I should get.

I have been vastly helped by yoga. An excellent website is www.doyogawithme.com. The classes are varied and of excellent quality.
