Aria smart scale?

Anyone have it? How accurate do you think the body fat % is?  That's my biggest goal. Lose fat gain muscle.

I received mine last week and while I have no definite means to prove it, it seems quite close as far as body fat. I was 16% which seems pretty close as I'm lean and fairly muscular. Only way to know accuracy is to do more comprehensive testing.

As others here have pointed out, it's the trend in weight and body fat most of us are looking for. That would generally be down with respect to body fat.

I've been using one for the past six months. I don't know how accurate the body fat measurements are in absolute terms (because I have nothing to compare them against), but they have certainly been consistent over time (no huge swings from one day to the next). I always use the Aria first thing in the morning, after going to the bathroom. This means body fat % will be higher than at other times of the day, because my body is less hydrated then (I don't drink during the course of the night). I may step on the scale in the middle of the day, but the measurements are I keep are the ones made first thing in the morning (you can delete individual measurements from your account, once they have been synced to it). I have the same goals as you: not interesting in losing weight any more, but rather further lose fat, whether in absolute or relative terms. I've found the Aria to be a good motivator for that.

I just got my Aria.  I had comprehensive body fat composition done at the lab and I'm 13% currently.  I am a 6' tall female and weight 144lbs.  In full competittion form, I am 11% body fat and 140lbs.  Today my first reading on the Aria gave me a 28% body fat reading.  Even using the basic BMI scale, I would not register this high.  I do not believe this product is accurate.  I have other scales that measure the same and gave me signfiicantly lower readings.  I could have a faulty scale and may have to contact customer service.

Did you set yourself as lean (as opposed to regular)?

Aria, regular vs. lean

If you are competing in bodybuilding, fitness etc., a better/more versatile/more reliable (and also significantly more expensive) product for you might be this:

Where do you find the regular or lean setting. Is this on the Aria in relation to reading your body fat? Thanks.

I dont have the aria but I do have a body fat %age scale

Its reasonably accurate and consistant.

But it depends

The fatter you are the better it will be.

I got mine at 30% body fat, down to 24% body fat now and they are reasonable numbers for me.
