BOD/Steps

ANSWERED

Greetings!  Does anyone here do Beachbody on Demand?  I tried to google which workout offers the most steps and got nothing...was hoping someone in this community would have even a guess...  🙂  Thanks!

I've never really "tracked them" but on P90X3.. some of the cardio workouts would get me around 2k to start my day.. some of the other ones (like Yoga, Pilates, or some of the "strength" based ones).. didn't give many steps in comparison. Workouts like CVX in X3 really brought the steps.

Also, I've tried Shawn T's stuff.. Focus T25 and his Insanity max 30 will have you running/moving in place for 25 to 30 minutes... But there's LOTS of stepping.. and LOTS of jumping unless you modify. I had to stop most of his stuff by the third week.. since my knees were going to give out on me. =(

Going back to the p90X stuff.. I never tried the original p90X or even X2.. but they have a similar base as the X3 stuff.. BUT those workouts can run to 60 minutes.. Again.. double the time over X3 so those cardio might over more steps.. but not sure how much is "down time" vs X3.

The only other's I've tried is Shift Shop.. and I don't remember there being lots of steps in those.

Hope this helps!

Sorry can't help you with that, never really heard of it, what's it about.  I'm more of a Beach Ball shape than anything if that helps 😉

Hmmm....Beachbody on Demand is a collection of workouts...you may wish to Google it.  I bought the PiYO dvd (pilates/yoga combo) and it is very effective---when I stay motivated and disciplined...which I'm kind of not right now...ha!  Thanks for responding...I think....  😛

Thank you! I also found out from another beach body on demand user that they have dance workouts as well such as country heat and those ones provide a lot of steps!
