Back after knee replacement surgery

Just getting back to my Fit Bit now after having knee replacement surgery mid July last year.

Recovery is going very well so I am really pumped. Started swimming agin back in Sept. /17 and really feel better for it. Just last week got started on a muscle strengthening and fitness routine with a personal trainer. Expensive but it's what I need to kick my butt. Back to tracking daily food intake too.

Overall looking to feel stronger, and more fit as well as slowly shedding about 10 lbs. Feels good to be back here!

Woo hoo! Sounds like you are doing good!

It takes time to get back. Listen to your PT. Looking forward to more of your posts!

Hi Wendy,

It has taken a while (years!) but I know now that it does take time to get back in shape. I am no spring chicken so I have to be prepared to challenge myself, but not to the point that I can injure myself. That is why I thought a personal trainer would be best. Feeling very positive. Have a good one!
