Please go to a good running store and get fitted. They will look at your gait and recommend if you need insert.
Insoles do flatten out and need to be replaced. Nothing last forever.
Please listen to you feet and take care of them
Your feet will thank you.
I walk a lot and replace my shoes every 300 miles
I would also add you really need to talk to your DR .

Thanks for the advice! My shoes are only a few months old; I've put 110 miles on them tops.
The current insoles that I have are for sure at the end of their life; and I find that the arch support for them are too weak even when their brand new. At least for my feet anyway.
For sure planning on seeing my dr soon.
