My weekly ritual begins on a Saturday night when I set the alarm for 6am the following morning. Sunday is generally the only day of the week that I don't go into the office, but strangely it the only day I set an alarm. That said, I'm rarely still sleeping on when the alarm goes off. I'm up, changed and out to the gym in much less time than I take the other days of the week. Once I'm at the gym I run a couple of miles on the treadmill to warmup, and then do some light, high rep weight work for 30 mins, followed by two one hour spin classes back to back. 15 mins of stretching before hitting the shower.
Its become my definition of a great morning.

My definition of a great morning is checking my emails, posting in my buddy group, and then doing my 20,000 steps before work! Yes, before work! Took a long time to train myself to do that but it's worth it and the 40 pounds lost has made me a healthier person by far!
