Is a little off the topic of what people talk here about but this can relate to the fitness lifestyle. For you which are the best running shoes to wear?

I suggest you go to a good running shoe store and get fitted. They will look at your gait and fit you with some different brands. Mine even lets me take them outside.
Everyone is different. Its important you get the right shoe.
My feet like Acsic and Brooks. Most otheres my feet do not lie

I have the Nike LunarGlide running shoe. I like the support and cushion that comes with this style of shoe.
I am a hard heel hitter when I run so I can be fairly abusive to my running shoes. This brand has held up well and provided comfort during long runs on the road. I would say it is a middle of the pact as far as cost. I personally do not like to spend an outrageous amount on running shoes due to the fact that they need replaced after every 300-400 miles to avoid injury.
My shoes must feel comfortable from the first lace up. I have always been happy with the Nike brand.
Good luck finding your perfect running shoe. 🙂

You need the right shoe for you, not the best shoe for me.
Mine is some sort of Adidas supernova thingy, a decent running shoe shop should have a treadmill you can test them on.

Thanks, i went to my local shop and after spending an hour trying shoes i ended up getting the Asics Gel-Excite2. Feels comfortable, and brings comfort when i step on running! Let's see how many miles it can handle.

So glad to see you picked Asics! I was going to suggest them. I have the Asics Gel Noosa Tri 8 and loved them so much that I got the Asics Gel Noosa Tri 9!

With running shoes you need a better fit than some other exercises. But as I always say even the expensive brands wear out within a few months with heavy use. Saucony and Champion are my two favorites.

I've worn Saucony Hurricanes for the past year (bought twice as a I walked/ran the first pair out after about three months). Very light and airy. Nice wide foot print.

That pair was one of the options i've had at that moment i agree in the wide foot print it was also light and airy, loved the finish too.

I have an older pair of new balance 411 trail running shoes (had for several years) great fitting shoe if you run with a neutral pronation

I'm more of a casual jogger but I just switched from a Nike Air 4 to the Nike Structure 17 and I gotta admit this is the most comfortable and forgiving shoe I have ever worn.

I've gotten over 300 miles since August on my Saucony Guide's and I rotate them out with my New Balance W1260v3. I LOVE both Saucony's and New Balance shoes and they can withstand a lot of mileage. I have high stability and motion control needs, but people with higher arches usually like Brooks or Asics. I have had and liked Asics before also, but Saucony or New Balance beats them out for me.

Like @ZhannaB, I love my Brooks... I almost run in them exclusively... Have had Ghost 5's, Ghost 6's and Ghost 7's. Also have a pair of Brooks Adreneline's which I like the best. I do run in New Balance (which have so many numbers for their models I can't kep track!) and a few years ago ran the Addidas Supernova's. I alway come back to my Brooks but I like to mix it up with different shoes from time to time.

Hey there, nice thread @Cbaez! For me the Nike free run collection is the best for these reasons:
- Are super light and comfortable
- There are plenty of colors and styles
- Reasonable price
- They look fancy
Catch you later!
