Calculating Steps

I manually entered my Stairmaster workout that I did this a.m., logging 3.57 miles and it didn't add anthing to my steps taken.  How do you enter in for steps taken?  According to my dashboard 1.14 is over 2,000 steps so I should of had over 4,000 added for the Stairmaster, correct?

You can only add that with the Walking Icon.. In the drop down box check that you have distance and when you enter all of the details Fitbit will back calculate the steps.

Keeping in mind any of these manual added steps. distance and calories go into your totals but NOT your Badges and Achievements.
