Why is are calories burned for manual entries so pitiful on the Fitbit (Alta HR)? Take a look at my stats from this morning, compared with my stats from Tuesday's workout:
Tues - Fitbit Coach Spin Cycle workout
33 mins
117 avg bpm
412 cals burned
Thurs - HIIT/Tabata workout (45 secs work/15 secs rest, for 2 sets of 15 movements)
30 mins
116 avg bpm
129 cals burned
My Thursday workout is MUCH harder than the Fitbit Coach workout. I sweat much more, and am expending much more effort. So why such a huge discrepancy? Does Fitbit Coach overestimate, or does the manual entry of the circuit training underestimate?

You cant compare two completely different exercises
Spinning you never rest.
The other you do. Yes its harder but its will burn less calories

It's not spinning. It's a Fitbit Coach workout designed for people who take spinning classes. It's similar to a circuit training workout, all done at home.
I feel like the Fitbit Coach workouts have a LOT of downtime, so I don't buy that I burned 3 times more calories than I did in the other workout.
