Why does my dashboard show I've already spent calories when I first get up in the morning. This morning for example, it said I'd already burned 249 calories and I'd just awakened.

From what I understand it calculates calories burned while sleeping ( heartbeat, breathing etc) we burn even laying in bed. 🙂

Bingo to answer above.
You burn calories sleeping.
Your BMR is what you would burn if you slept all day.
You eat less than you burn in TOTAL all day.
Just wanted to clarify, some people think they have to exercise and burn more calories that way then they eat - and then wonder why their body got unhealthy so fast.
Help the next searcher of answers, mark a reply as Solved if it was, or a thumbs up if it was a good idea too.
