I'm asking because I've just been told that I have an irregular heart beat. Now, waiting for the Cardiologist appointment. But I've noticed on the activities, that my heart rate goes really red in some bits and then takes a dip and turns blue. I've been told, that my heart is not experiencing a hear attack at the moment and my blood pressure is fine. But this is scaring me. xx

This is normal, especially in the first 10 or 15 minutes of exercise. It can be an indication of not warming up enough. It can also be an indication the heartrate displayed by the Fitbit is incorrect. It's not a perfect device. It does work well at low to medium heartrates. Do not consider it a medical device.
If you get dizziness, that can be a problem.
Best to check with your doctor, but don't be too anxious while waiting.

@Nikky74 hey there and welcome to the community! I would not use your fitbit as a medical device to track your heartbeat. It isn't intended as one and I wouldn't trust it to be one. What you can do however, is take the data that it is giving you to the cardiologist and have a discussion about how he interprets it, if he thinks it is valid based on what he knows about you and your condition and if he wants you to use it as a guide. I will tell you that the HR sensor is not always accurate and could fluctuate quite a bit depending on the tightness of the band, level of activity and wrist placement. my two cents for what its worth... take care of yourself...
