Can you pause the step monitor logging ?

I am finding that my fitbit One is picking up the movement of trains and the car on my commutes so it is showing many more steps than I am actually doing.. is there a way of pausing the step monitoring so that I can control when the step monitoring is logging?

You can use the Start/Stop button. Turn it on when you get on the train. Turn it off when you get off.

When it syncs to the Dashboard you can delete that record
