Cardio (LISS, HIIT) and strength training

An interesting post on How to Use Cardio to Maximize Your Muscle. The author is a medical student who’s into weightlifting. He explains that both forms of cardio  – low intensity steady-state (LISS) cardio and high intensity interval training (HIIT) – can benefit strength training. This is not a commonly held view among "meatheads", who tend to dismiss cardio (especially steady-state) as a nuisance, and only see some value in HIIT (and even then, only for fat loss purposes).

Great article.

Basically debunks the 'steady-state low intensity cardio is bad for your physique' nonsense.

Resistance PLUS HIIT PLUS LISS is good..glad to hear it (since I am doing all these lol 🙂 )

Thank you!
