Change goals from greater than to less than?

ANSWERED

Currently, the fitbit app reads the goals by a greater than method. If you walk greater than or equal to 10k steps, you have met your goal. Or If you climb greater than 10 floors you have met that goal. These are just examples.

I would like to change my goals to be met if i walk less than x number of steps or less than x number of floors, etc.

I'm extremely active and when I got my fitbit and showed friends with fitbits they were all astonished. Anyway I would like to be less active. Is there a way to do this or will there ever be a way to do this?

You couldn't have a device that had "less than" goals, because if your goal is less than X, it would always be automatically achieved at midnight, as soon as a new day started. Zero steps is less than whatever possible goal you'd set.

I'd recommend you set your goals as a maximum lower than what you normally do, and if you reach that goal, it's time to stop for the day. For example, If you're now walking 15,000 steps a day and you want to decrease that, set your goal at 10,000 and go couch potato when you hit it.
