Charge 2 or Blaze?

ANSWERED

Newbie to the discussions.  Replacing my Charge HR. The band is tearing. Working with customer service right now. Taking a poll for replacement. Do you prefer Charge 2 or Blaze? Any specific reason?

Thanks in advance.

I've had my Blaze for over a year and I'm very happy with it. I've knocked it around quite a bit too and it's never scratched or chipped.

Feature-wise, they are now very similar (talking strictly health-/fitness-related features), after recent firmware upgrades to the Blaze that added things like reminders to move and relax. Only cardio fitness score (found on Charge 2) is missing AFAIK. It mostly boils down to looks, display and whether you have a need for the "smartwatch" features of the Blaze. Having used both, I personally prefer Charge 2, because I have no need for controlling my music, displaying SMS etc. on my Fitbit.

I gifted my Blaze to someone after the Charge 2 came out.  The main reason I went to the blaze was the ability to change bands (and stick with a HR enabled tracker).    Although I'm not truly fine boned I was unused to wearing watches.  The Blaze was just a little too big for my tastes, although it does look less like a tracker - but from someone who is currently wearing two (Charge 2/Flex 2) at the same time that doesn't quite matter.

LOL - actually I never swapped it out this morning so I'm actually wearing my old Charge HR with the Flex 2 this afternoon.

I don't have a blaze, but I can tell you that I love the 2. It has all the features you can want in a fitness tracker, isn't huge on the wrist and has replaceable bands. I was a die hard HR fan and it took me a few days to get used to the 2 (mostly size wise) but I miss it when I wear my flex 2.

I have owned both and think I like the Charge 2 better. I like the tap instead of the touch screen because I accidentally ended workouts a couple times because of the touch screen. With the Charge 2 you have to hold the button to stop the workout. I also like that the Chare 2 give me my fitness score. It does a little more than the Blaze, but is smaller and simpler to use.

I have the charge 2 and love it. It does everything that I need it to do and I love the look of it. Don't know much about the Blaze with regard to what it does over the Charge 2 but looks wise I prefer the Charge 2 and love that the strap is changeable.

I use the Charge 2 and absolutly love it. It has all the features I need to track what I do, easily customizable menu to fit my needs, and small enough to not get in the way at work or doing day-to-day tasks.

Great, @BuzzyBee! I’m sure you’ll love it. You can ask for help or tips on its dedicated forum, or here of course (if your questions are not specific to the Charge 2).
