I just got a Fitbit Charge 3 to replace my Misfit Ray which died. I literally am using my hands practically 100% of my day. I work full time on a computer, and also a full time student, and a pianist. I used to have to take off my Misfit Ray when playing piano because it actually tracked those motions as steps. However, now that I have the Fitbit Charge 3, that is even counting my typing as steps. I switched it to dominant hand to lower sensitivity, but I'm not sure what else can be done. I don't understand why Fitbit is marketed as best of the best and five times more expensive and it doesn't have more sensitivity options. Is there any other way to address this issue? Now I'm wondering if it's going to track driving and stuff too. I guess it makes sense why my step count was always lower with the Misfit than my friends with Fitbit. Their counts always sounded insane to me.
I really like the Fitbit Charge 3 and I'd like to keep it, but I need to find a way to resolve this or it's not really useful. Help!

Not much of a fix, but some people wear them on their ankle.
Good luck; I have a Versa but have never had that problem.
