Thought this Topic was very important as we all are here essentially to get and/or stay fit. We use the fit bit to track our progress and for some its gives a motivation to keep on stepping!! lol. Whats also so very important is when it comes to our bodies, we must Cleanse and Replenish the body as you would do with your vehicle with a Oil change/Tune up, and/or Computer by doing a Computer Clean and Virus Scan. The Results in all 3 examples are Better Performance all around!!!!
There are several ways to cleanse and replenish the body (I am apart of an amazing Cellular Cleansing program if you would like more info you can contact me directly). What I would like to know is how many of you are Cleansing and hows your experience with it.

I personally "replenish" my body by eating food and drinking water. I don’t feel like I’m missing something.

I will agree with @Dominique on this. If you have a functioning liver, kidneys, colon and lungs; your body is cleaning itself.
Cleanses and Water additions don't have any "detoxing" properties; since "detox" is a real medical claim applied to patients with lead or mercury poisoning. Please see this article for further information.

agree with my friends- no need to mess with a machine that knows what it needs, when it needs it and how it needs it. If organ function, nutrition and water intake are normal- nothing else needed.

I agree with @Dominique and @HelenaFitbit You do not need to detox. Your body does it on its own.

In the March issue of Consumer Reports they reported on cleansing. A Doctor of Nephrology( Kidney), a Gastroenterologist, and a Registered Dietitian, all stated that our bodies cleanse themselves naturally using the idneys, Liver and Lungs. These cleanses do not remove toxins, or rests your digestive system. They also stated that most cleanses are low in fiber, a component that helpd your digestive system run smoothly. So save your $200.00 and forget the cleanse.

I don't think our organs are perfect or we wouldn't have kidney stones, blocked arteries ,liver cirrhosis etc etc.
Pesticides and chemicals can end up stored in fat cells .

Juicing is my answer to cleansing:)
This is my cleansing juice.
Beets, ginger, carrots, apple, celery, cucumer and kale (<-the only green leaves tough enough for the juicer)

It’s just a pity you have such an impressive list of wonderful ingredients and you’re missing out on a lot of their benefits (vitamins, fiber, satiating effect) by juicing them. You would be better off eating them in their solid form.

Why do you feel the need to cleanse. With a proper functioning liver and kidneys and a diet with enough fiber, the body cleanses itself normally.

I eat plenty of fiber and many comparable food:)
You are totally missing the point of the juice though.
1. I hate the taste of beets and kales, this juice combo is the only way I'd have any
2. I'm not short on any vitamin or fiber in this juice
3. This is a quick way to provide a jolt
4. Yes, I'm wasting a lot of good stuff, but I won't pretent to care:-D
5. I can drink this in 30 seconds, let's see you eat all that in 3 minutes;)
And yes, I also do smoothie which does retain a lot of fiber, but blender kills off a lot of vitamins and antioxydent that is otherwise retained by juicing. But again, smoothie is for a different purpose. Typically I do it because 1. I want to add some organic protein powder 2. I want to fill my tummy. It's a quick breakfast.

I'm not saying cleansing isn't good, I'm saying if you have a functioning liver and kidneys and eat enough fiber in your diet, you do not have to cleanse, because the body has been cleansing itself naturally for thousands of years. How do you know the toxins we are exposed to everyday is not what our bodies are used to getting rid of? How many Holistic Doctors have you met? Once again you sound like a sales rep when you say," I have tons of professionals, collegiate and even high schoolers who do cellular cleansing even if it's just in the morning or evening. I only hope you are not using your Father's name in order to sell individuals this cellular cleansing hype. If you are, you are no better than Dr. Oz. I'm really sick and tired of all these fads, like IF, ketogenic diet, cleansing, cellular cleansing, and chelation, preying on peoples fears, insecurities and even naivete when it comes to their health, believing what new thing that comes around is going to be THE ANSWER. The answer is don't believe everything you read or hear about some new exciting fad, diet etc, use some common sense, eat healthy, exercise regularly, visit your Dr. at least once per year and let your body do what it's supposed to do naturally.

I know 20 plus holistic doctors
We are all selling things in life so the fact you call me a sales rep to me doesn't bother me. In fact you are selling me that cleansing isn't necessary at all which I respectfully disagree and that's OK.
-I am not nor have I ever had to or desired to use my fathers name to get me things nor am I ashamed to say my name and who my father was. I am proud of who he was and what he stood for. He would cleanse FYI!! That's why I reference him.
I talk about what I have had experience with. If you have a complex of some sort with people who promote or talk about what they believe in and have tried for themselves than I am very sorry to hear that but nonetheless I wish you all the best and will reiterate that I respect your opinion and here what your saying. There are a lot of people who are promoting something that they have never used or had results with and for me that is not cool but again I do work alongside of a lot of professionals so if telling the truth is problematic I apologize but the truth is the truth. I wish you all the best and always continued success and great health

I just watched a 2min and 31 sec video of Smokin Joe Jr selling, representing something called hash tag 30 day movement, along with the video there was a phone number that you call and talk to him or someone affiliated with this 30 day movement. Once again, smokin joe you are no better than Dr. Oz!

chemie, I would question anything I read in the DHP because: It's promoting a drink that will burn stomach fat( hello Dr. Oz), prevent cancer, boost energy and remove toxins( how?). Claims to show you how to make your own Antibiotic, can remove bags under your eyes in 2 minutes, shows you a weird trick that will restore 20/20 vision in 7 days, has an energy pill that is banned in 49 states except Wisconsin, shows you an easy exercise that destroys high blood sugar and shows you how to make a garlic syrup that is 10 times stronger than penicillin and treats cancer. They will put Oncologists, Plastic Surgeons, Optometrists, Dr.'d that treat Diabetes, and Pharmaceutical companies all out of business. And that was only on one page. As I stated before, as long as we have a functioning liver, kidneys and include enough fiber in our diets, we do not need cleansing, detoxifying, chelation. Please tell me how they are going to remove fat soluble toxins. No we do not have perfect organs, disease happens, but I don't think what I've read on the DHP web site makes me feel any safer. We must all do the best we can with our bodies and hope for the best, but really does what DHP promises make sense?

I'm sorry but I do not think juicing is the answer either. I would rather eat the real stuff than juice it, It will keep me fuller

I don't juice (because I do think a lot of the fiber and nutrients get left behind in the waste), but I do make smoothies using my NutriBullet. There's no waste, it uses everything you put in so I am in fact consuming everything. I cannot personally stand eating kale or spinach. I've tried them both with many different recipes and seasonings. But I know each is packed with nutrients which is why I use the bullet. I can throw in some kale and spinach leaves, add half a pear and a green apple, blend with some water and ice and I'm good to go. As I said with the bullet there is no waste it blends everything instead of juicing.
Beyond the greens I have made progress in learning to like more veggies ... but with those ... blech! At least with the bullet I still get them in there somewhere.
As for "cleansing..." I would have to agree with most everyone here I think a healthy diet and plenty of water are the best "cleansers" for your body. When I made a commitment to drink at least 64oz of water per day (and yes I know everyone has a different opinion on this), nearly 80-100oz if I do vigorous workouts, I noticed within a week I felt better all around.
