Comparatively very high heart rate when running

I'm 26 and of about average height, weight and fitness.

I've been reading a lot on these forums recently (how to deal with a stress fracture) but have found it really interesting to hear about peoples heart rates when running which all seem to be a lot lower than mine.

After about 30 secs of running I'm always in the peak zone around 175bmp rising gradually to around 200bpm, I usually run 5km or 10km. Should I be concerned? As I see pretty much everyone else saying they never get higher than 160bpm ish, when I can't help but get way above that in less than a minute?

I think anytime the question of heart wellness comes up, the real answer is to go see a doctor if you are concerned. They are in the best position to answer your question. I run a 7.5 minute mile and my heart rate doesn't go above 145. I am in my forties, tall and thin. My resting HR is in the upper 40s unless I am sick or overindulge. Then it maxes out at 51. I would urge you to consult with your physician just to be on the safe side.
