  • @SunsetRunnerHRV is Heart Rate Variability and I have used it periodically to check for over training, stress etc.. where you get the results below using Corsense Elite HRV, not the Fitbit.. But the Charge 2 uses this feature in the Relax option but doesn't port that to the App..  See these posts

In the Fitbit ideas, Fitbit have stated they will not implement the HRV at Charge 2 level.  See this link

In the Charge 3 Ideas it's still open.. See this link

I'm up and down lately, 2 plc injuries have been hell on my cardio.

50-54.9 is my range.

If you want higher you just have to work harder (safely)

Not necessary I'm on 58 bpm and sitting nicely at that rate day after day.
That's a good strong heart rate especially if it's constant.

Nope, you are not wrong.  I too was amazed about happened for me in just a few weeks.  RHR down from 72 to 62 and blood pressure down down from 150/90 to 130/83.  I just walk (quickly carryign weights) and diet (losing about 10 pounds).  I do fear that if I stop, it'll all come back just as quickly...

@JediB : the discussion in this topic is about cardio fitness score, not RHR. Two different things, though RHR is one element used by Fitbit to determine the score.

Male, 54 years, score 44-48 (excellent for my age)

I started 2020 with good intensions. Fitness score started at 42. Stopped drinking beer every night, drunk no alcohol in januari. Started fitness at the gym. Resting heart rate went down from 71 to 56!

Eating healthy, trying to lose some weight. Lost 3 kilograms. Will continue like this. Try to get the fitness score up!

Great job everyone.. This link shows that Excellent is probably Superior... Keep it up..  and this link is a simple calculator which gives me the same answer as Fitbit..  Moving it around based on my RHR it's still accurate.  RHR is 52today and HR got down to 43 on the Premium Sleep log last night

Thank you @Colinm39 for sharing those links. The info was exactly what I was looking for when I went searching in the Fitbit community boards.

I was trying to compare my score with my daughter's and given the 30 year age gap, it was difficult comparing apples to way-older-apples. After reviewing the links, I feel much better about both our scores.

I'm a month away from 60, female with cardio fitness score of 43-47. While MUCH lower than my daughter's we are both rated at excellent for our respective ages.
