This morning I finally got my 2. 5 mile route plotted out, which means with luck, my daily will be 5 miles now. I walked a total of 2.66 miles , and got my 6k steps in, all before 9 am! When I got home, my clothes were soaked with sweat. The serious, "Dont you dare sit on my sofa like that" kind of sweat! I've never felt so good about being a mess! The challenge to myself is to walk 5 miles a day for the next 5 days. 25 miles. I can do it, now!
I've tried this before, hundreds of times. I've walked, worked out, dieted. I'd lose weight, gain it back and then some. This---this feels different. That little monitor motivates me like never before. Having people that challenge me, motivate me, and keep me accountable makes this so much easier! Since I'm not using any fad diets or pills or anything else, I can focus on simple and easy lifestyle changes that will stick.
