For the next version of your wearable device, I was thinking that a nice upgrade would be a beer tracker. It should come with some sort of warning system that lets me know before I have one beer too many, and can’t get to the gym in the morning. The warning would have to be different than the buzzbuzz you get when you’ve hit your 10,000 step goal. I’m thinking more like an electric shock. Not enough to do any real damage (pacemaker wearers beware), but just enough to wipe the happy, party smile from my face and make me yell out, just a bit. I think a lot more people would get to the gym on the weekend with this type of warning system, and therefore hit their goals more often and ultimately be happier fitbit users.

That is a very interesting idea @jeffryl ! I recommend that you share this idea in our Feature Requests forum. This is a great place to get the attention of Fitbit's developers.

Don't you already get a "buzzbuzz" from drinking beer, and would know when to stop once your
vision/co-ordination fails? Ask a friend to whack you on the head, when you get too much.
