Mayo clinic web site says coffee provides some hydration. Just not as much as a cup of water would. Sodas and juices also are mostly water and are probably not 100% equivalent to the same amount of water. But probably close. It would be nice to know a rough percentage and have the app record the equivalent hydration under water intake when logging things like coffee and juice in food.

I track my hydration and only enter hydrating liquids, water, seltzer water, uncaffineated tea, milk, etc. I leave off coffee, any caffineated beverage, etc.
