I've been trying to drink the recomended amount of water on my Fitbit Dashboard, but the more that I put in the more that I pee out.
It seems like I'm constantly having to pee, and each time I go it's a substantial quantiy, and almost clear.
Is this normal\healthy, or is it my bodies way of telling me that I'm drinking more than it needs?

I drink more than the recommended amount it took my body a little while to adjust. When I first started drinking more water I was in the bathroom every hour at least now only a couple of times a day. Water is good to help flush toxins out.

How long did it take for yor body to adjust?
I've been doing this for a month, and I'm still peeing every 45 minutes or so.
Is the figure on the Dashboard calculated for your personal height\weight\gender, or is it just a blanket figure that eveybody gets?
I'm also concerned that I'm washing nutrients and salts out of my body.

Peeing is really good for avoiding UTI's! Your pee should be clear, but should also have a slight yellow color (especially the first time you go in the morning). A good rule of thumb is to drink half the amount of your body weight in ounces. If you weigh 150, you should aim for at least 75 oz. If you're working out a lot, or sweating a lot, like in these warmer months, you need to drink more. If you're simply drinking what Fitbit suggests, you're definitely not washing out all of your salt levels, especially if you're eating enough throughout the day. I find that my suggestion is a little low, so I don't think it would give you a crazy high one.

My problem is, it's not always convenient to pee.

You could try drinking your water when it's more convienent I guess! For instance, if it's at work, drink a full glass when you first wake up, more before lunch, and then when you're home. Your body does kind of have a sensor though, and when you drink water it thinks "okay, we have more water, let's get rid of this old water now." So, the more frequently you're drinking through the day, the more you'll have to go.

That's the problem I am having. I have definitely upped my water intake, but at work I can't keep going to the restroom. I find that I can't make it thru my 60 min Zumba class either having to pee. Is there a such thing as "too much" water? womanfrustrated:

For me, it's worse in the mornings.
I have to pee about ever 20-30 minutes up until midday. Then it goes to about ever hour.
Even if I try to space drinking out.
Otherwise I end up drinking too much in one go, which isn't good for my stomach.

no you do not need to drink that much water. Remember 90 % of food that you eat is also water. Milk is 95% water. Remember everyone is different, some people need 3-4 litres a day(including food), some need two litres. What is important is to maintain hydration without being over hydrated. If you are peeing all the time, it means that you are drinking to much and should cut down a bit, until you are comfortable.
