The subject is the question. Is it better to just make the fitbit a constant?

I only remove my Force to shower or swim or to charge the battery. Otherwise, it's always on my wrist.

I thought the fitbit flex was waterproof - why does everyone say they take it off in the shower?

I wear my fitbit all the time, except in shower or if I am rocking in a rocking chair. For some reason, it counts steps each time I rock in a chair!

Yep same here always have my One! If you get friends and are competing you get even more nuts! I want to walk EVERYWHERE so I can beat my little brother! and I am just now sending a friend of mine a flex I don't like so she can be my fitbit friend too!

I put my Flex on when I wake up and take it off again late evening. I don't wear it in the bath or shower and don't really want to wear it to bed. I know I'm a way restless sleeper, no suprises there.

Clarifying again that they say the device is in fact waterproof. But some people have said connections got funny with constant water contact. I just don't like to wear bracelets or jewelry in the shower.

Charging while driving is a great idea! I drive 40 min round trip for work. That should work perfectly. 🙂

I am old school, still have an Ultra and love it. Wear it all day long, and only sporadically through the night...Lots of times, I will charge it overnight. The sleep stuff doesn't really interest me all that much.

I'm receiving mine tonight to replace my withings pulse. Only thing about the flex though is that I read it takes up to 3 hours for a full charge. So I can't wear it for that length of time when it does need recharging.

From what the tech specs stated, it's waterproof up to 10 meters. Meaning not a very long shower wearing it.

I just purchased the Zip a few day ago. This is all new to me including these forums so bear with me.
I wear it all the time except showering and sleeping. So far I like it!

I got the Fitbit Zip a few days ago and the only time I take it off is showering and sleeping. I keep it right by my bed so I remember to put it on as soon as I wake up.
