Hi, all! I usually do my work out at home. And recently, I've started to get additional tools to make my training more intensive. I've found such tool as a slide board. The review of them gives info that the movement on such board is similar to the move as the figure skater or ice hockey player do. So it may be really useful, I guess. Has someone tried? Does it work well? Does your fitbit count it normally?

hey @AmberLarson welcome to the community! I haven't tried one or know of anyone that has so I can't vouch for the effectiveness, but I can say that unless it allows you to take a step, fitbit will not acknowledge it as a step. Depending on the tracker you have, it will register as activity based on movement and HR, but it will not give an accurate step count.

@emili thanks for your reply!
On such tool, I can only slide, as I understood..so it is not a step. Bad that fitbit can't count it

My sister has one. She enjoys it. But she doesn't have a Fitbit, so I can't tell you how Fitbit reacts to it. I would say anything that motivates you to move and exercise is a good tool, whatever Fitbit does with it.

Totally agree with you! I just wondered whether it will be able to count or nope
