Does anyone feel exhausted! I think 14,000 might be high of a goal!

I have had my flex for 10 days now. My goal was 14,000 a day every day except Sunday.
I average 7 miles daily, and I feel exhausted. I feel like a slacker reducing my goal but feel like I can't keep up the pace. I have achieved all goals...calories, steps and steps but feel like it's to much.
Anyone else? And any suggestions?

Your body is adjusting, give it another couple weeks and you won't notice.  I feel the same way and my goal is less than that.  It's a habit forming process but the body will get use to it.

Tammycam, I don't know where you are starting from but this is your tool and your journey.  There is no race to fitness. If you are feeling exhausted and not energised & invigored, you just might have bitten off more than you can chew for now!  You might be coming down with a virus, or you just might be adjusting to the new challenges you've set for yourself... there is no way for your virual community to know. Only you know how you are feeling. However, pushing yourself to exhaustion is the wrong thing to do. Have some patience with yourself and back off your inital goal till you feel better, then start adding in additional steps and workouts.  There is no shame in starting easy and working up slowly.  You need time to let the body adapt to the new requests you are making on it. Small, consistent goals... goals that get met & keep you moving is what you want. If you push too hard your body will react with inflammation, injury, stress and possible illness, which no one wants. A lot of people go too hard & hurt, then they quit.  If you are in this for a lifetime of health, take it slow.  The workout that gets done and keeps you coming back is the way to go.

Be healthy & keep moving!

Ive had my flex since March 2014 and regulary use it at work. I work a ten hour shift system Days/Nights. Over a five day week my steps work out at around 90,489. When i get to take a week off, every third week although my head says go to the gym, i feel totaly exhausted for at least four days. Im fifty six years old and apart from leaving my job cant think what to do. any sugestions anyone?
