Double dipping to get calorie bonus?

I've read a few other threads but am still a bit confused. I usually have a Fitbit calorie bonus in Lose It. Should I assume that is accounting for the exercise I've done for the day, or should I continue to add mine manually in Lose It? If I have a bonus of 300 calories, and have inputted that amount for exercise, I have 300 more calories I'm allowed to eat for the day. Do they actually cancel each other out?

Thanks!

Fitbit won't let you double dip.  If i've gone for a walk and fitbit says I burned 200 calories then I go and log the walk in Lose It for 200 calories I will see I get credit for 200 calories only.  My fitbit adjustment will reduce by 200 when I log the walk.
