Every morning I ride a 4wheeler to my hiking trail. How do I set the fitbit one to NOT record those "steps"? If I need to somehow erase them, how do I do that? I'm new to this item and only use a computer to download/track its' info (no app on cell phone, ets.) Thanks in advance...diana

I just installed an app called Drive to my phone that syncs with with fitbit. It's an easy way to sync your driving time and not count the steps. I just installed it so I don't know how well it works.

If you look in the activity log section you should be able to remove the extra steps by recording the time as (in my case) riding in a truck. I had the same problem when I travel with extra unwanted steps when the road we were on was very bumpy. Hope this helps

Actually, if you look up the calories burned riding a four-wheeler, you would be amazed! You can always just record that time period as some other activity, manually.

True, just trying to stay upright, sometimes, is quite taxing. This weekend, we not only got tons of steps, but also flights of stairs. I guess it's best not to have a fitbit with you when going off-road...it's just too much work to negate all that movement!
