Did you mean:

Explore your hometown.

I luckily live in a beautiful coastal area where trails, woods and seafronts are the nicest places to take a long walk and enjoy the surrounding views. But recently i have been on the lookout for the yellow public footpath signs and have found some great new trails where i like to take the dog, but they are ones that i never knew where there until i looked. It has made a huge diffence to my step count as i take a different walking route each time. So explore around where you live and you will be suprised what you can find and those paths will lead you to better fitness! Have fun 🙂

I live on the prairies and have a fabulous walking area ...it's a small town in the middle of farm fields full of beautiful yellow canola fields ...ducks in the ponds ,blackbirds and song birds everywhere ...on some really special days there are even tiny little frogs on the road ...all the way around the town is a 7 km route ...great morning walk and great to explore in my own town

This is an excellent idea! My Fitbit friend @Marcy recently visited me in Finland (all the way from Texas!) and we did a 20 km (12.4 miles) sight-seeing tour (walking) of central Helsinki last Sunday. I recorded it as a Runtastic activity so as to remember all the places we went to :
