Best AnswerBeing a person who lost a Fitbit in the past.
Here are two suggestions I have to help ensure it gets returned or found.
1. Add a message to you Fitbit "TAP DISPLAY" Screen message that is your contact Phone Number .
( located in your profile by clicking on your device and adding your number into the tap display message section). After that you have to put your trust in the honesty of others to reunite you with your lost Fitbit.
2. Load the Fitbit Finder App into you cell phone. Works great to help narrow down your search.

Best AnswerI don't know if this will work or not - BUT - can you sync the found Fitbit to your phone and then log an activity with it? I'm wondering if it will show up on the owner's dashboard/activity log. Then they could see where it is.
Of course, if this even works, I wouldn't suggest doing it from your home. But maybe a local coffee shop would be willing to hang a sign that says, "Are you here looking for your lost Fitbit? Ask for the manager." Then you could use that location to log workouts that may show up on owner's dashboard?
Just a thought. Good luck!
