FitBit Nebie with a question

I have the Charge 3. I am a little confused on setting your activity. Today I did what my instructor calls Intermediate Training. we work with weight, steps, bands, weighted balls & weighted bars. Do i need to change it every time we go from step to weights est.? It is a very high energy class and lifting..today it said I only burnt 120 calories for a 60 minute class. I know i must have done something wrong with the fit bit.

Welcome to the forums!

I would use Workout mode for the entire thing. You can have up to 7 short cuts

@Sondrainky1.. hey there and welcome to the community. One thing I just want to point out which you probably already gathered, but I want to be sure, the type of activity isn't going to determine your calorie burn. You can "name" the activity anything you like.. the effort you put in will determine the calories burned. it is all based on your met multiplied by your weight. your HR may not be going above fat burn during the session because although you are working hard, the activity isn't accelerating your heart rate to a higher met value... if you are curious about how it all works, you can check out this link.
