I just purchased a Fitbit Sense after having a Versa 2 for several years. I am baffled by the calculations of distance calculation for my Sense on a treadmill. My Versa always calculated very close to 4 mile walk in 1 hour on the treadmill, which is what the treadmill would calculate. Now with my Sense, it will only calculate it as 3.6 miles even thought the number of steps are the same as the Versa. My step length has been calculated to reflect 1,800 steps per mile in both devices. Why would my Sense be different?
