Fitbit recommendations

Hi,

I used to own a Fitbit Flex2, but noticed it didn’t track the different equipment at the gym. Is there one that does this automatically please?

Hi @Bodhiandco,

Gym equipment use isn't tracked automatically by Fitbit. I would recommend getting the Charge 2, and logging as Weights or Workout mode. The Charge 2 will track your heart rate and estimate calories burned for the overall workout, so there's no need to log each individual piece of equipment. Hope this helps.

@Bodhiandco  totally agree with waves Davey here, when I got my surge 3 years ago I logged every activity separately  i.e. weights, treadmill, etc etc but other than generating a lot of meaningless data (for me anyway) it did nothing ... now I walk into the gym set it for workout and end it when I leave ... this allows me to compare longer term, set new goals etc etc

I have a Fitbit Charge 2. I would like to see the FitBit issue a signal for each 2,000 steps and then for reaching the defined goal.  Currently we only get notified when we complete the goal amount.
