Fitbit steps not working the whole time

Hi there

My step count seems to be playing up, i have spoken to fitbit and restarted it but sometimes it isnt counting my steps, sometimes it does and sometimes it only does after about 30 seconds of me walking.

Not sure what the problem is, any advice appreciated.
