Hey guys! As 2016 is coming to a close, I would like to hold a poll. Would you please respond with the emoji that matches your feelings about your fitness & health in 2016! Be honest. 🙂
😎I totally rocked it! Bring on 2017!
👍🏼 I did alright, stuck to some goals.
🙈I could have done better! 2017 is my year, though! I'm gonna do this!
👀 I just need to find the thing that works for ME! I'm searching for something I can actually stick with.
💪🏼I am totally good with fitness/exercise, but nutrition can be a struggle.

😇 I am content with myself, feel no need for new things or change or goals.

If I have to pick one, I'd pick this one. It's closest to where I am. However, most of them apply in some way. I'm going to end the year somewhere around 90 pounds lighter and I'm getting a better handle on both fitness and nutrition. 2017 will continue the challenges.

I'd go with this one! I lost over 70 lbs since May.
Nutrition-wise, I am quite content - I have a healthy meal plan that is not based on any gimmicks. I will be able to transition to maintenance nicely by simply increasing quantities. I get to have chocolate every single day and still lose weight - what's not to love?!
Fitness-wise, I am progressing very nicely. I am nowhere near where I was prior to gaining weight 6 years ago, but I'm on my way. I was able to start running again, and it's the best thing in the world for me right now! I'm slowly rebuilidng strength again, but I won't get where I want to be until I start gaining muscle mass, which is not going to happen for a while still.
So, overall, 2016 was a success!

2016 was my fourth "Fitbit year". Each year I’ve learned new things (by educating myself and self-experiments) and made incremental improvements in nutrition and fitness. In 2016, I’ve figured out how to lose or gain weight at will, in a controlled way, according to my training goals, and without counting calories. I’ve also found a resistance training regimen I enjoy and can progress with. Looking forward to continuing the journey in 2017!

I'd say 2016 has been a successful year. I started my journey in July and have lost 47.5 pounds as of today. I look forward to continuing in 2017. I need to focus not only on weight loss but maintaining a healthy lifestyle of exercise and nutritional meals.

It began well enough, but I began to regress. Once I got myself resituated, things began to look up again. I believe 2017 will definitely be better.

My fitness levels 2016 were jogging 31 per week, 2 nights Crossfit and plenty of Walking. . 2017 will match or even better!! My downside is eating habits, hoping to change as it should be better. 🙈
