Football and Boxing tracking

Hello,

I know this has probably been asked hundreds of times but I cant find a definitive answer.

I have just brought a Fitbit Surge. I run and cycle, which are easy to track but also play football and box. What are the best tracking modes for football and boxing? Can I rename these at a later date so I can track each type of exercise?

Is it simply best to stick workout on for both as I can categorise the activity?

Thanks

Chris

There was a thread I saw for this a while ago.

Quick search and should be:

This was the reply from the mod that had the topic 'solved'...just incase the link doesn't open 🙂

For the time being, distance is covered only by manually recorded ambulatory activities. Say, for example, you press/hold the button to enter and exit activity mode on your device. once you sync, all you have to do is recategorize the activity as something that walking based (walk, run, hike, etc.) so that you get distance for the given activity.
