Working out is an essential part of your daily life. It helps to improve your mood, boost energy, and can even be a little fun Aside from the actual work out, I believe that the right work out clothes can also be a motivating factor. What do you think?
Most of us wear Fitbit trackers but I'd also like to know what you like to wear while you stay fit?
I'm personally a huge fan of lululemon. They have a variety of work out clothes for men and women, whether you're a runner, yogi, walker, etc. My favorite pair of workout pants are the Inspire Crop II. What I like most about this brand is that the clothes fit well, and look great on you regardless of what size you are.
The major downside about lululemon is the cost. If you're on a budget, you should check out Old Navy's Active line. They have a good variety of active gear for both men and women, and is much more wallet-friendly than lululemon. I've found a lot of great workout tops and accessories at Old Navy, plus they always seem to have some sort of sale going on.
One of the most important "accessories" for your workout are your shoes and socks (except if you're a yogi). They should be comfortable and supportive, regardless of what you're doing. I'm a huge fan of Nike's LunarGlide shoes. They're lightweight, supports the arches, and I was able to complete Bay to Breakers (12K!!) in them somewhat comfortably.
If you're in the market for shoes, you should check out Running Warehouse. They have a great tool called Shoe Finder, which allows you to find shoes that meet your budget, shoe width, arch height, etc.
Now it's your turn to share! Let the Community know what you like to wear when working out. Feel free to share tips on what to look for when picking out a top, bottoms, shoes, etc.

My favorite gear is my road bike, but I am pushing it always to the max I do not lose weight. So I decided to go for a Flex and I lost already 3.5 kgs in 4 weeks time..... If only the Flex could track also my cycling I would be the happiest guy on this board 😉

If you tie your flex to your ankle would it not record the movement as steps. (the stride would probably be off, but would record something)

I love, love, love Zella brand from Nordstrom. The fabrics are very stretchy and forgiving, and their exercise clothing stands up well to all sorts of weather (and frequent washings). I swear by the Live In Legging by Zella (I just bought a second pair during the Nordstrom anniversary sale to add to my long pair and my capris) - I even wear these to work with a long sweater and boots! Very versatile. I also have several of the Zella Z5 tees. They have ruching, pretty colors, and are form fitting without being tight.
I also just got a Garmin Forerunner 220 to replace my old non-GPS Garmin watch. So far, I'm loving it!

I recently purchased a Flipbelt and I'm really liking it. Solves the issue of carrying my keys, phone, and my credit card.

I love Lulu Lemon but it is very expensive here in Australia - needless to say I still buy it... My running shoes are Asics Kayano which I have been wearing for years and don't buy anything else.
Happy days everyone.

Champion brand sneakers...I've tried the pricey ones Saucony, Nike, if you're very active the expensive ones wear out just as fast. I get three months with any pair. Champion sells for $20-$40 a pair with excellent support, buy two or three pair and rotate wear.

I love, love, love my Brooks (Ghost 6) sneakers. No other brand fits me so well and feels as natural on my foot. For running clothes, I have found a lot of great tops, bottoms and jackets at Costco, believe it or not.

Ditto on the Flipbelt. Both my wife and I have been wearing one for about a year and we love it. Keys, phone and small waterbottle all fit in there nicely. I don't use it much in the winter months because we have enough storage space with the winter layers of clothing; but it sure comes handy in the warmer seasons.
