Did you mean:

Get moving during recovery time

I am unable to give you an answer because, at some point, someone there ends my side of this conversation. This is my 3rd try

Yes, I did see the challenge… but if I am not already involved in this, then I don’t know what I am involved in…YojanaFitbit_4-1627963426027.png

I will join MIND AND BODY on one condition:

Tonight at midnight I don’t lose my mind by the steps I have already logged; and ( this is crucial) that my “Old body doesNOT COLLAPSE FROM EXHAUSTION YojanaFitbit_6-1627963438620.png

I have lengthened my stride when I walk, which feels really good for me overall. I’m “Maxed out” on my strides. I don’t want to pull those muscles. But, I do have a genuine question for Odyssey13 and all the Moderators, the Fitbit watches, at least mine, and, I also believe that the Apple watches, can’t keep up up with the speed at which I walk.

You asked Google to track my steps on Saturday. I appreciated that. They showed me where I went, and the speed at which I walked. They posted along my route”Fastest pace” for the entire walk, going and coming.

I’ll write more later, but thank you for reading this,

@ThomasbB I've move your comments to a new thread since I've noticed that you have a lot of comments and information that you'd like to have about this time. I'm so glad that you're better!

Recovery time is really important and I know that you're almost like new but still you need to be really careful with your feet.

About the challenge you just need to work on what you can achieve, doesn't matter what is you goal. Regardless of how you structure your daily goals, the only thing that matters for the monthly challenge is whether or not you reach what you set out to do. Did you see my goals? You can adjust yours as you wish.

I really don't get your question about the speed of your walks. Can you please give more details to help you out with that?

BTW, I've also sent you a PM (private message) to give you some directions about how to post here on the Community Forums of Fitbit. You can reply to that via PM, if you wish.

See you around.

Hi YohanaFitbit,
Thank you for responding to me today.
All I have been trying to do is for my accuracy in my walking with myFitbit, which is a very good tool.
I do agree with you about my feet. And thank you for this reminder. I always try to take into account in regard to this walking.
You had mentioned to me that FitBit was part of Google. I hope I am correct in this.
On last Saturday, Google maps open up on my IPhone XR. I took that to mean that they wanted to track my steps.
They tracked me from my home to “Walker Gate, which is on Ft. Belvoir. They tracked me from there back the way I came all the way to my home.
Their screen on my phone popped up early yesterday early in the morning so, I started to walk from the bottom of Volunteer Dr. Google tracked my steps, and the speed at which I was walking. Their maps showed up again this morning. Do you know if they want me to walk again?
(From my phone yesterday, there were emails Roy my wife, Tina, stating, “ I can’t talk right now …5 times, probably because I wasn’t finished the route I had taken.
(Now, don’t send to have me put into a Tubber room somewhere with a “Strait Jacket on…I’m kidding…

@ThomasbB Lovely to see you again here!

Don't worry, I'll do my best to help you out with your inquiries. Remember that you have to take your recovery with care and have a lot of patience.  You're right about the acquisition of Fitbit by Google. With Google’s resources and global platform, Fitbit will be able to accelerate innovation in the wearables category, scale faster, and make health even more accessible to everyone. You can read more about this here:  Fitbit to Be Acquired by Google.

It doesn't mean that all Google features will be trying to connect with Fitbit without your permission. And remember all features from Fitbit should be opened from the Fitbit app. Thank you for all details in your post, it was of great help. I've modified the specific street names on your post for security reasons. But I understand your point. To track your route next time, on your watch, open the "Exercise app", choose Walk and wait until it connects to your phones GPS. You can give it a try right now and if it doesn't connect you can let me know or check these steps.

No strait jacket for you my friend, Lol. Versa 3 Controls might be listed as “Not Connected” in the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone. When you receive a phone call, the controls automatically reconnect.

Keep me posted and happy walking. 😁

Hi Yohana, thank you for that information. I was glad to be tracked by Google’s Map app. I only hope that the walks I took that Google tracked resulted in more accuracy in the millions of FitBit users’ confidence in your team’s efforts to provide us with this tool.
I, for one FitBit owner, am very glad that the steps I track coincide with Google’s tracking abilities.
If I was one of those that Google tracked to try to improve their ability to deliver a higher quality product, I was glad to “Step it out…”

Hi Yohana FitBit, I have a photo on the “Feed taxz
Hi Yohana, both of my feet have been compromised. My right foot, whenever I put it on the floor to walk, the pain becomes very sharp at the wound site.

While my left toe is healing, I can only use it to a certain level before it begins to hurt, which slows the healing process on the left toe….
Do you “see” what I mean.
But I do move, but just under the pain threshold, both will heal.
My walking now is slow so both will heal

@ThomasbB Oh wow, sorry to hear that you have pain in both right and left foot. But it's totally understandable since you're still in your recovery time. I'm sure you will get better with time, don't rush and try to do only what you doctor is telling to do during this weeks. I know that something we want to rush and get better soon but the body has their own wisdom and pain means it's still healing.

Are you having any special diet?

If you can try to choose vegetables and fruits rich in vitamin C, such as strawberries or spinach. For adequate zinc, choose whole grains and consume protein, such as eggs, meat, dairy or seafood. Some wounds may require a higher intake of certain vitamins and minerals to support healing.

Thank you, “Dr. YohanaFitbit”
If I didn’t know better, I’d think you dare a doctor 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The doctor did specifically say, not to bend or turn my ankle. The stitches can be pulled on, loosened and I’ll back where I started from.
Can you imagine putting 34,000 plus steps in on Monday, and under 7,000 today…I can’t…
Have a good night Yohana,

Thank you Dr. Yohana…I will…
But can I ask you something: I walked, gently last night, 19,022 steps. Can you tell me the reasons the dropped me from 145,000 all the way back to 113. That wiped away every step I took yesterday.

That was so unkind. You’re my “Doctor” and you mushy have a ‘say’ in this, right. After all, I am your patient

Hey @ThomasbB, wow those are a lot of steps. Did they disappear from your Dashboard? Exactly where? Yeah that's not good.

Please keep me posted.
