Google Health and fitbit heart rate tracking

When Google Health and the Fitbit apps merge on May 19th 2026 will Google Health track my heart rate like the Fitbit app does today?  It's the main reason I bought the Insite 3.

I can confirm that you will still have the same heart rate tracking in the Google Health app as you currently do in the Fitbit app. 

BTW, I saw a recent post that the app merging will now occur on 26 May, 2026, a week later than originally announced. They likely need the additional week to get both the Android and iOS app ready to launch.

I appreciate the info.  The email I got did say between 5-19 to 5-26.
