I just did an 98 minute power walk on the beach and burnt 840 calories. I had 2 coffees previously so am unsure if this variable had anything to do with it but I only usually burn 400 - 300 calories doing F45 HIIT classes so I feel like this I’m not accurate. I’m 66 kg in weight and 170cm tall. I’m reasonably fit also. Is this accurate?

I have the Fitbit Charge 2 and although I absolutely love the watch, the heart rate / calorie burn is hit or miss with certain exercises. For me, It NEVER works correctly on the elliptical machine. It SOMETIMES works on the treadmill. It usually ALWAYS works when I'm running outdoors, but the calorie burn usually comes out 100 less than my actual burn. I wear my Fitbit on one wrist and a Garmin 235 on my other wrist, the Garmin is always accurate so I normally go with that reading. For example, this morning I ran for 114 minutes, the Fitibit said I burned 919 calories and the Garmin said 1013. Just for reference, I am 5 foot 4 and weigh 120#.

Calorie burn on any tracker is not going to be exact. It is a good gauge or reference and it will consistently be "inaccurate" so you can monitor and estimate your own accuracy. I do think that seems a bit high, however, I don't think it is so far off as to be discounted. It should show you your average HR during each activity- what was your peak and fat burn during the walk vs the HIIT sessions? You can also note your HR during the most intense period of your HIIT work out and then do the same once you are fully into your powerwalk and breathing harder to see what it is registering..
