Hi all. I am so new to this I am confused! I would like to say this flex is definitely motivating me to move more! I am not sure what to aim my goals for. My ultimate goals are to lose weight and get healthier. I am unsure what I should set the section "calorie burn" (the area where it asks you what you want to burn each day) and then the same would go for the distance, steps etc. I do not know how to figure that information out in order to be successful in losing weight.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Those things are just goals that while you try to reach them will effect daily burn, it's not the reason for the weight loss.
You lose weight eating less than you burn, by reasonable amount so you can sustain it and adhere to plan.
So accept the defaults for those goals and just see how you do, some days you'll hit them, many you may not. Especially if some exercise is not step based and you manually log it in to count the calories burned.
You can adjust them later if it just pains your heart to not reach your goals.
So just set weight loss goal to 1 lb weekly, and then log your food accurately, and meet the daily goal whether high or low.
That's how to be successful in losing weight. That's the real goal you need to hit.
