The "Readiness" notification isn't useful to me and actually annoying. How can it be turned off so no notifications about "Readiness" appear in the App on my phone?

Hello @grbmds
Are you asking about the Daily Readiness score or the daily Cardio Load target prompt?
If it's the Daily Readiness score, you can hide the tile on the Today page by tapping on the pencil icon and turning off the Readiness tile.
If it's the Cardio Load target prompt, there currently isn't a way to turn it off. Please consider adding your vote & comments to this feature request in the Product Feedback forum to allow users to move/delete the Cardio Load prompt in the Fitbit app (<-- click link).
One option that some users are doing is deleting their Cardio Load data in the Fitbit app. This temporarily turns off the Cardio Load prompt when the data is deleted. This method requires periodic Cardio Load data deletion about once a week to prevent the algorithm from acquiring the necessary data to re-establish the Cardio Load. If you want to give this a try, this help page has the steps to delete the Cardio Load data (<-- click link)

I thought I was asking about the Daily Readiness score but, when going through the list of what can be hidden I only find the Cardio Load switch for on/off. I turned that off and I'll see what happens. Why make this so difficult. I'm not interested in all these metrics. I merely want to track calories burned, exercise stats, water intake, a maybe sleep (although sleep seems to be a borderline accurate tracker). So, bottom line is that I'm not sure what to do. Complexity is one of the reasons I didn't want an Apple Watch and I'm a big Apple fan. I guess I'll just keep experimenting.

I have turned off and hidden everything I can find. Daily Readiness notices still appear. I don't know about the Cardio Load data. I've turned that off also and don't see any notice about Cardio Load (never have). Is there a place to set a "Cardio Load" you want to reach? Or is that merely a metric calculated from other data?

Hello @grbmds
You might find these support pages helpful in understanding the Daily Readiness score (<-- click link) and Cardio Load (<-- click link).
There isn't a numerical Cardio Load target that you set. You select either Maintain or Improve as your fitness goal. Just to let you know, that users who select Improve as their fitness goal have reported getting high target ranges. However, when they set their goal to Maintain, the suggested range is much more reasonable.

I'm not sure what you mean by "fitness goal". My main goal is calories burned since currently I'm in the mode of trying to lose some weight. I looked through everything and can't find a "fitness goal" setting. Could you identify where to set that or is it a feature that is only active when you subscribe to Premium?
