I'm guessing the average is 15 - 20 minutes depending on how fast you walk. I would think even walking slow you could walk a mile in 20 minutes. My Charge 4 is measuring my steps and saying approximately 2,200 steps is a mile. Sounds about right but it usually takes me 25 minutes to walk that. I get 3 miles in the morning but it always takes me around an hour and 15 minutes. Just seems off to me. I think I'm gonna download a tracker app on my phone and compare them.

I usually walk at 3.6 - 3.8 mph. I walk on a couple of popular trails and pass a lot more people than people pass me. It's about as fast as I can go.
I would be careful of your Fitbit distance if you are not using GPS. Without GPS, your tracker estimates your stride length and calculates distance by counting steps.

Yeah, I get similar results — roughly 2200 steps per mile, and it usually takes me around 20–25 minutes depending on how fast I’m walking. I think a lot also depends on things like the terrain, surface, and even what kind of shoes you're wearing.
