I plan to do a lot more hiking and I am looking for motivation from others. I have already been to Mt. Rainer, and the Olympics. We are planning to visit the National monument, Craters of the Moon. Where have you been hiking since you got the fitbit?

North Rim of the Grandest of Canyons......had the dogs with us so we were somewhat limited but got some decent 5 and 6 mile at a time walk/hikes in and did get the step numbers up in the 25K range every day. Not to mention the scenery of course.

I personally think you lose more weight when you walk/hike outside. Sounds great! It has been a LONG time since I hiked there.

Back when Beth and I were in Mesa, AZ, we would go out Saturday's and Sundays to Usery Mountain Regional Park and hit the Merkle and Vista Trails there. Lots of good hiking in that region.
Now, we're in Birmingham, AL and we try to get out to Oak Mountain State Park. There's a great 3.5 mile through the woods up and down hills and around the lake trail there.
