How much hours is too much sitting down/laying in my bed?

ANSWERED

On a daily basis I sit at my computer table and lay down on my bed for 2-5 hours. I do exercise every day, I'd appreciate it if you could tell me how much hours is too much for sitting down and laying down in my bed.

your body should tell you when its too much or not enough. If you feel tired physically then lay down until you feel rested. If you lay about for awhile and you start to feel achy and lethargic- get up- its time to move. there isnt a time limit, its how you feel. I will say the more you lay about, the easier it becomes to do nothing but lay about. Keep to your fit goals and listen to your body.

I have days where i take an hour nap or even more.  Some of those same days also have me walking 20K steps.  Pint is not how much time you spend resting\sleeping\tv\games  but what you do when you are up and moving around.

I also have a lot of days where I only get 6-7 hours sleep and after a bunch of those in a row I like to sleep until my body is ready to get up without a clock.  (8-9 hours).

Have set a alarm just in case (alarm clock, fitbit & phone should be enough as backup..Smiley Embarassed) though noticed when getting up at the same time every day (also in the weekend), the body is very clever and wake up just before the alarm goes of, it doesn't like to wake up by force (due the sound of a alarm..).. when needing more sleep, being tired earlier cause it knows when to get up in the morning if it's about the same time..

The body is complex, amazing, does so many things for us.. and giving feedback constantly (hungry / not hungry / asking for more rest if not feeling up to exercise.. digesting foods, switching to use body fat.. repair muscles.. and lots more..)..

I drive lorries for a living so I can be sitting for 4 hours in one go then have 45 min break then back to driving for 4 hours then I finish my shift normally after 10 hours. As long as your active when you can i wouldn't worry.
