How to download heartrate log for a given exercise activity

ANSWERED

I have Versa-4

Lets say I do 30 minutes of a particular exercise (properly STARTing and STOPping the activity)

When done, how do I download the heartrate data (hopefully giving values per minute)

- it can be as a TCX file, or whatever format FitBit uses.

I want to be able to import it into an exercise tracking site (not on fitbit.com)

You can do it on the web Dashboard or in the mobile app. In the Dashboard open the activity you want to export:

In the mobile app (Android):

Mind there are limitations. Only GPS activities (and not all) can be exported. From non-GPS activities, you'll get an empty stub file. Also, exporting Interval Workout from the Fitbit app will cause the app to crash (old but successfully ignored bug).

Thanks for the info, but DARN -- I use an Elliptical

Polar heartrate chest band with Polar A300 watch used to record, and then upload into Polar Flow

- I could look at it there (a nice chart of heartrate throughout the activity) and also export to a different web application

Can FitBit at least (on iPhone and/or on FitBit.com) at least show be a record of the activity heartrate?

Just open recorded exercise in the app and you'll see heart rate chart (holding finger anywhere on the chart will show you HR with timestamp).
