I setup MobileTrack, how to see if it is working if I have another device?

I have a Charge HR most of the time, but setup MobileTrack on my Nexus 5x for those times where battery dies, etc.  How can I tell if it is working though?  Is there anyway to see the steps being captured by MobileTrack?  For example is there anyway to view steps by device?
